FloorSure Structural Flooring

FloorSure Structural Flooring

Concrete floors are strong, but they’re slow. Mixing, pouring, waiting on a cure — all of it eats into a build schedule that’s already tight. FloorSure skips that wait entirely. It’s a 30mm structural cement board that gets you concrete-level strength without the mess or the downtime, and it goes down using the same tools and fixings already used for a timber subfloor.

Builders are using it for wet areas, balconies and full subfloor replacements, over timber or light-gauge steel framing. Melbourne Timber Supplies now stocks FloorSure across Deer Park, Pakenham, Geelong, Ballarat and Bendigo, ready when your next job needs it.

Key Features

Serious Structural Strength

Independently tested to a bending strength above 20 MPa dry and 14 MPa wet, and certified to meet NCC/BCA deemed-to-satisfy requirements under AS/NZS 1170.1.

No Pour, No Wait

No mixing, no curing time, no wet trades tying up the site. Boards go down with construction adhesive and mechanical fixings, and the floor's ready for the next trade the same day.

Non-Combustible and Low-Silica

Classified non-combustible to AS 1530.1, with zero flame spread under AS 1530.3. At under 1% crystalline silica, it's safer to cut than most fibre cement products on site.

Built for Wet Areas and External Edges

Holds its shape where standard particleboard flooring swells and delaminates, rated for bathrooms, laundries and correctly detailed balconies or covered decks.

Better Thermal and Acoustic Performance

A thermal mass around 60 kJ/m²·K helps flatten temperature swings and can support NatHERS and BASIX outcomes, while the added density improves sound performance too.

Backed by a 10-Year Warranty

Every board carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty against defects and material degradation under normal service, when installed to spec.

Applications

  • Wet area flooring — bathrooms, laundries, ensuites
  • Balconies and covered decks
  • Commercial fit-outs — retail, hospitality, fast-food kitchens
  • Renovations and subfloor upgrades ahead of tiling or vinyl
  • New residential and multi-storey builds, over timber or light-gauge steel framing
