Get the tape out before deciding on this one. At 138mm wide, there’s a lot more timber on show than with the smaller Bevel profiles, so it needs enough room to sit comfortably. The board is 18mm thick and has an angled bevel worked into the face, giving that extra width a bit of shape. Being pine, the grain and natural markings will vary rather than looking identical from piece to piece. This size is worth considering when a job calls for a broader moulding or extra coverage. Check doorways, corners, cabinets and other fixed items first — that’s usually where a wide board finds its limits.
