The 68mm face is wide enough to be noticed around a doorway or window without taking up a huge amount of wall space. Being pine, you’ll see natural differences in the grain from one length to another. That’s part of the timber, not something to hide. If you’re matching an existing moulding, take measurements from the old piece first — width and thickness both count.
