The 18x18mm Dressed Square edge is a slim square profile made for neat screening and outdoor feature work. Its equal width and depth give it a simple, balanced look, particularly when several battens are installed together with even spacing. It is a useful size for smaller screens or projects where a heavier timber profile would look out of place.
The pine is finger jointed, dressed all round and supplied primed. The smooth faces and square edges also mean less preparation is needed before the final coating is applied. H3 treatment makes the timber suitable for above-ground outdoor use where the timber may be exposed to weather.
Being primed pine, it can be finished in a colour that suits the surrounding walls, fencing or outdoor area. The narrow 18x18mm section works especially well where the aim is to add detail without making the finished screen feel too heavy.
