This is where the Bullnose range starts getting noticeably wider. At 138mm across, the timber has enough height to become part of the room rather than just a small finishing detail. Skirting is an obvious job to consider, although the final use comes down to what you’re building and the measurements you need. The bullnose takes the sharpness off the edge, and the board itself is 18mm thick. Have a good look around the room before settling on this size. Door frames, cabinets and built-ins can all interrupt a wider board. It’s much easier to find those tight spots with a tape measure than halfway through fitting.
