Measure 138mm up the wall and you’ll get a much better idea of what this profile looks like in a room. It’s a broad piece of Half Splayed Pine, so the timber becomes part of the overall finish rather than just a narrow strip around the edge. The splayed section puts an angle through the face, while the board itself is 18mm thick. With pine, grain and colour will naturally differ from length to length. For a board this wide, measuring beforehand really matters. Check door frames, cabinets, corners and anything else close by. Finding a tight spot before cutting timber is always easier than finding it afterwards.
