Measure 110mm out on the wall and you’ll quickly see that this isn’t a narrow strip of timber. There’s a decent amount of face on show, although at 11mm thick the board itself remains relatively slim. That combination can be useful when you need width more than depth. The dressed profile is deliberately uncomplicated, with the natural appearance of the pine left to give the board its character. It can be cut and worked into a range of suitable finishing jobs. One thing to watch with a wider board: check nearby corners and fittings first. Extra width has a habit of finding obstacles you hadn’t noticed.
