Milled from sustainably managed Tasmanian forests, it carries the same pale, even colour and fine, straight grain found across our Tasmanian Oak range, and the extra board width means fewer joins and faster coverage across larger rooms. The reduced thickness suits renovations laid over an existing subfloor or projects where door and skirting clearances are tight, while remaining stable and easy to machine, cut and finish. It takes stain, oil or paint evenly for a fully customised look. Supplied by Melbourne Timber Supplies in Feature, Standard and Better, and Select grades, it is suited to living areas, bedrooms and open-plan spaces calling for a wide-format hardwood floor.
