The tape measure matters with this one. A 138mm face takes up a decent amount of space, and once you add the 18mm thickness you’ve got a substantial piece of dressed pine. It’s the sort of board to look at when you genuinely need the extra width, rather than simply going bigger for the sake of it. The face is plain and the timber keeps its natural grain, so there isn’t a moulded pattern competing for attention. Check the full area before ordering, including corners and anything fixed to the wall. With wider timber, a cabinet edge or doorway can change how the whole run needs to be planned.
