Put a 92x18mm board next to one of the slimmer sizes and the difference is obvious. There’s more width on show and enough thickness behind it to give the timber a solid proportion. That makes it worth considering when a small piece of trim would look a bit lost. Nothing fancy has been cut into the face; it’s dressed pine with a straightforward rectangular shape. Use it wherever the measurements suit the job rather than trying to force the size into a particular application. If several lengths are going into the same room, look over the grain before cutting and decide how you’d like the pieces arranged.
